What is an Escape Room?

An Escape Room is a themed room where you work together with your team to solve clues and puzzles in order to complete a main objective and ‘escape’ the room within 60 minutes.

Will I be with other people?

You will only be in the room with the people you have booked the room for. This is anywhere between 2 and 6. This is your own private experience!

Is it scary? Am I really trapped in a room?

At no time will you be trapped or locked in the room. You will always be able to open the door and leave if you need to. Our rooms are fun, not scary and are aimed at age 8+ years (the age is based on the ability to help with the puzzles and not scare factor)

I’m claustrophobic, can I still play?

Our rooms are quite spacious, but there may be less spacious parts involved. You will always be able to leave the room and never trapped inside. If you are very worried you can always come and have a look at the room before you book.

What time should I arrive?

Please try and arrive around 15 minutes before your start time so our staff can brief you.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 10am – 10pm Monday to Sunday. If you need a game outside of these hours then please give us a call. We may not always be available on site for midweek games but please give us a call if there is a specific date and time you would like to play. 0207 507 0227

How old do I have to be?

You must be 16+ to book our escape rooms and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

How long does it last?

You will have 60 minutes in the room to escape.

Is there a car park?

We have free parking and we are just a couple of minutes walk from Sawbridgeworth Station. Please remember to give our game master your registration number on arrival. If you cannot find a space please call us and we will do our best to help get you parked.

Is there disability access?

Unfortunately, due to the building being grade 2 listed there is no wheelchair access. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What happens if I am late or cannot make my booking?

Bookings are non refundable. Once we have confirmed your booking refunds and cancellations are not accepted. If you can’t make your booking, please contact us in advance (at least 48 hours notice) and we will try to re-schedule your game.

If you are going to be late please call us on – to let us know. We may have to shorten your game. If you are more than 20 minutes late then you will not be able to participate in the room and will not be eligible for a refund.
